Browntop Millet is a warm season crop added to food plots for nutrients and variety. Planted at 10-25 lbs per acre. Also, used as a cover and nurse crop for new grass plantings. Browntop Millet matures in 65 - 70 days. Great for Dove Fields, food plots, erosion control and many other uses. Usually sprouts with in 5 days of moisture. Great cover crop for permanent grass planting. Browntop Millet grows great on dry well drained soils of all types.
- Apply 15-20 lbs. per acre
- Cover lightly by rolling or disking
- Fertilize 200-250 lbs. of 16-4-8
