The sales manager will be able to promote our company standards, achieve set company goals, and meet customer expectations. The manager will act as a liaison, providing product/service information and resolve any emerging problems that our customers may face with accuracy and efficiency. The sales manager will be able to produce sales by offering a unique ability to special order items not typically carried in-store.

Responsibilities
Oversee other employees to ensure they remain on task, help resolve customer inquiries and associate questions with minimal interruption to upper management
Create orders for inventory fill-in and/or for individual customers (Special Orders) for approval of the store owner
Assist in social media and other online marketing efforts
Assist in event planning and execution
Contact vendors to either schedule meetings with upper management or to keep open lines of communication about products, sales, etc.
Monitor inventory to ensure all products have a scannable barcode, correct pricing, stock status, and descriptions
Greet customers when entering or leaving establishments
Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
Maintain the inside appearance of the store by keeping floors swept/mopped, dusting shelves/fans/products, keeping cobwebs at bay, etc.
Effectively manage large amounts of incoming calls
Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction by providing knowledge and information on product and product features
Ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
Cross sell products, make sales referrals and introduce new ones
Be a team player with co-workers and management to ensure proper customer service is provided
Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within proper time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution
Keep appropriate records of customer interactions. (Special orders, complaints, charge accounts, layaways, etc.)
Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
Collaborate with management to maximize customer interest and sales levels by appropriate display of products
Follow layout plans for the store and maintain store shelves and inventory
Monitor stock movement
Handle cash transactions with customers
Scan goods, collect payments, and issue receipts, refunds, change, and/or tickets
Keep reports of transactions

Experience
Store Hours: Monday - Friday 8am to 6pm. Saturdays - 8am to 4pm.
Position would be considered Full Time (5-6 days/week, 30 - 40 hours/week)
Position starts at $13/hour with potential for growth
Applicant must live within 15 miles of the store location and have reliable transportation
